Will.I.Am, Britney Spears, Hit Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne, & Diddy's "Scream & Shout" Remix Video + Nikolas Degas Remix

There's not much I can say here. If you listen to popular music even in the slightest, you've heard either will.i.am and Britney's "Scream & Shout" original anthem or the remix with Hit Boy, Waka Flocka, Wayne, and Diddy. Well, just a few hours ago, the video for the latter dropped on i.am's Vevo. It goes well with the track's mass appeal and is a good watch but what I'm more focused on is our boy Nikolas Degas' progressive house mix of the original. After dropping a fantastic remix of Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child," I've been anxious to see what's next for the man. Uploaded just a few days ago, Degas' "Scream & Shout" remix is already swarming the underground music scene. Peep both the aforementioned remixes below.

Our Nor Cal hommies from HOF, who throw quite a party might I had, are about to release a new summertime, out at the pool with scantily clad beautiful creatures enjoying ourselves w/ various inebriants, type of track by the likes of La Zebra featuring vox by C Plus. A definite addition to any and all djs working on expanding their sunshine party crates. I will be requesting this track from Sir HOF so I can include it in my summertime sets. I have never been more proud of my friends...everybody pitched in yesterday, some working 9 hours straight, to help put together I.T.S. Music Playgrounds 1-Year Anniversary show. We held it in the middle of downtown Los Angeles at the famous Exchange LA nightclub and were chosen to head a new club night. The vibe was electric and the people were encapsulated in the amazing artwork Dana Troy had worked tirelessly to complete. All I can say is last night was a huge success and it came to be by the hard work of a small dedicated army. To all the homies, to those who came simply to help, to those who stayed to see the night through and to those who turned out to check this event, I Thank you and the I.T.S. family thanks you. It's been quite a while since I checked the good 'ol hype machine popular page. Last time I was there I probably skipped all of the songs except for maybe three that I liked. So it comes as a surprise to me that this morning as I conduct various Dank Radio e-mails that I don't skip a single song. This remix by Goldroom of Lancelot's "We Can Dance" [forthcoming on Binary Records on Feb 20, 2012] caught my attention for being the most happy and groovy of the lot. It's just the right tune to play at about 3:33 am in a club setting for people who's ears have been ravished by hard saw synths and pulsating wav synthesis. Press play + Dance.

Four Tet's "Love Cry" is just one of those songs that you can listen to on repeat for almost for ever. For me it was the opening drum pattern and just the swing that make me bob and sway my head that won me over. When the lyrics "Love Cry" drop in you just feel that rush of sonic warmth and you just can't help but smile. I have yet to experience a Four Tet Live or DJ set and am really looking forward to just vibing out w/ my eyes closed to his musical selections.

[via] Uhm. How do I put this tactfully? Well, Die Antwoord has always been slightly difficult for me to digest. It might be the shock factor. One thing I'll give them is they demand attention. You can't help but check these guys out. In addition to their gravitating attention they put on one hell of a show. It's like combining the late 80s/early 90s stage presence of Red Hot Chilli Peppers + the insanity and shock value of someone like Slipknot. Any hoo, I'm really diggin' their track above "I Fink U Freeky". I think it's a multi use DJ track if applied in the correct way. Not 100% sure how I was introduced to Bok Bok. It might have been Fabricated or I heard his track Look [Purchase @ Night Slugs | Juno] on either a SBTRKT or Pearson Sound mix. Either way I was extremely glad to discover his Bass music. It was a nice break from the build ups and drops that have become the norm in other forms of Bass tunes. Scion AV had the opportunity to interview him to find out how his club night morphed into a record label, and how he describes his own sound.
