Paving The Way To Paid Dues 2012: Moe Green [Album Stream]

Moe Green: Music. Soundcloud. Twitter. Tumblr. YouTube.

Welcome to the Second Edition of Paving The Way to Paid Dues. For our second edition we highlight a dreamer from the Bay Area; Moe Green. "Unassuming" would be the word for this particular Rapper. Hailing from the bankrupt city of Vallejo California, rapper Moe Green proves to possess the integral attributes to achieve success in his own right. Moe Green aptly referred to as "Moe The Dreamer" hustles to bring his dreams into fruition. Devoid of hype, Moe Green made heads turn and ears perk up with his previous albums "I Just Want You to Hear My Voice" in 2009, "Rocky Maivia: Non-Title Match" album in 2010. And in true pursuit of his dreams, He has dropped yet another EP entitled, "Lionheart" just last year. His evolution as an artist and progression as a human being emanates through his music. However, throughout his career as an artist and the all important transformations along that journey, he sustains one thing; himself.

Die Antwoord - I Fink U Freeky [Music Video + Album Stream]

Die Antwoord : Official | Facebook | Twitter

[via] Uhm. How do I put this tactfully? Well, Die Antwoord has always been slightly difficult for me to digest. It might be the shock factor. One thing I'll give them is they demand attention. You can't help but check these guys out. In addition to their gravitating attention they put on one hell of a show. It's like combining the late 80s/early 90s stage presence of Red Hot Chilli Peppers + the insanity and shock value of someone like Slipknot. Any hoo, I'm really diggin' their track above "I Fink U Freeky". I think it's a multi use DJ track if applied in the correct way. The track is off their album TEN$SION [out today | purchase @ iTunes] which is available for full stream over here.

Siriusmo - Mosaik [Album Stream & Interview]

Siriusmo : Official | Pre Order Mosaik : here

The first time I heard a Siriusmo track was from one of Jack Beat's mixes a while back. The song was High Together and upon learning of who the creator was, I instantly dove deep into the digital realm to search for more from this funky producer. There wasn't a whole lot to find, other than a couple out dated promo shots, an EP released here or there, and zero interviews. The closest thing to an interview would be someone else commenting on how he wasn't interested in touring or performing live. And so I kept on searching for whatever track of his I could find. Finally word was received that he was in the process of making a full length. You wouldn't believe how happy I was to read the news. I continued the search for more information on his upcoming release and this is what I found. Mosaik will be released on February 25th on Monkeytown Records [created by Modeselektor]. You can stream clips from the album below. I've also included the only Interview I've been able to find on him. He invites us into his creative space and talks about his artwork, his music, and why he just doesn't like leaving home....
