The name Ruff Hauser [Official | Facebook] may not yet be be familiar to you, but once his Paul Bunyun EP is released this upcoming Tuesday on Beatport [On Worthy's Anabatic Records] everyone will be spinning these tracks in their sets and grooving to it on the dance floor. Moomahton Forever. Or how I should say for eva eva and eva eva. With the rollercoaster rises and falls of certain sub genres one wondered,  "What happened to Moombahton? Everyone's playing trap/trap rave/etc!?" DJ Craze is here to save the day. He's compiled an enjoyable plethora of moombah ranging from your bleeps and blops you're familiar with to even more techno darker reverbery moombahton vibes. All complete with a skratch here and there and definitely not everywhere. Compilation comes out 1/17 on T&A Records, but you can stream it below!

James Jacob Jakwob has recently focused more on his LIVE band productions and performances as one has seen with his last release titled The Prize. We've kept an eye out on what he's been churning out and we honestly can't wait until he brings his LIVE performance over here to the states. He recently sent over Detox as a radio exclusive that later was released to the public (download here). When he shared the track below I jumped out of seat in excitement, "Yes, This is the TUNE!". Feel the smooth vibes on this beautiful remix of Michael Woods' "We've Only Just Begun (feat. Ester Dean)" by UK techstep production duo Calyx & Teebee. These guys seriously know how to flip a track – just listen to their remix of Little Dragon's "Little Man"

The smooth melodic progressive house riffs that ride over the bassline hit the spot for me, and the vocals help make it even better. But my favorite part of this track is the epic bridge with the strings that fade out back into the main riff that goes into the vocal, which then goes into the next drop.

This tune comes out October 21st on Ministry of Sound. Keep an eye out for this one!

Our Nor Cal hommies from HOF, who throw quite a party might I had, are about to release a new summertime, out at the pool with scantily clad beautiful creatures enjoying ourselves w/ various inebriants, type of track by the likes of La Zebra featuring vox by C Plus. A definite addition to any and all djs working on expanding their sunshine party crates. I will be requesting this track from Sir HOF so I can include it in my summertime sets. We first introduced you all to the two brothers back in June of 2011 and in less than a years time their music has spread like wildfire on the internet. In addition to their stellar production and amazing live stage performance, their music has been championed by the likes of SBTRKT and a whole slew of UKG producer/djs. They have yet to disappoint and for those of us here in the US we wait patiently for a tour to arrive at our shores. While we wait, we'll have no choice but to enjoy their amazing songs...

It's my firm belief that it's quite rare to find another human being that vibrates at either the same frequency as you or at a relative complimentary frequency. Say you're ringing out at C and you come across someone that's at about a G. When you put those together you form a C power chord. One of the most basic and most widely used forms of chordal music that everyone who listens to punk rock and classic rock can relate to. So during a show not too long ago I met a G note. He was a cool dude who was rocking a marvel comics t-shirt and on top of that I was digging the music he was performing. We chit chatted and I was surprised to find out we shared similar tastes in comics, anime, and music. Time traveling to more current dates I find out that I'll be performing at his CD release show. With all these situation unraveling I couldn't help but use this opportunity to do an origin story with this specific artistically inclined character. Farkas - Meet The Farkas Part 1 [Forthcoming Release]

This massive release by Swedish producer Farkas on Walsh's label Biscuit Factory Records is already out on 12" vinyl, but the digital comes out not too long from now on March 26. "Harmless" and "Tribal Dance" have both received plenty of radio play and DJ support from many of the biggest names in the bass music world. "Harmless" is a dark tune with hard hitting dums as well as a sub-bass line and top bass line that sounds anything but...harmless. "Tribal Dance" is a bouncy 140 BPM bass track that will definitely get the dancefloor groovin' and jumping up and down like some kind of...tribal dance.

Anyways, enough with the lame puns. Don't sleep on this release, these tracks make for dancefloor weapons that will get the crowd going and the room rattling!
