Last week we featured EDM newcomer ARESS and his "Get Free" remix that took us by surprise. We're back another one from the man today, an original titled "Wired" that's very deep and a bit erotic. Manni Dee - You'll Soon Know Guest Mix on NTS 1/30/12 [DJ Mix + Tour Dates]

Manni Dee: Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud

Shout outs to Manni Dee representing the Brighton sounds over and across the pond. Manni has been an early supporter of Dank Radio and we're really glad at the rate of not only his musical growth, but his ever expanding cv of favorite artists he's performed with. We always knew he was going places. It's just a matter of time until he makes his way down to Southern California so we can have a proper show/Dank Radio live mix. But until that happens the mix below will have to be suffice. It features a handful of forthcoming tunes of his which will be released on the likes of Hit & Hope and Raised By Records. Interesting thing to note is Manni's evolution from his previous musical creations which mirrored more Brainfeeder / Low End Theory type vibes into his more 150 bpm and beyond juke type rhythms. Enjoy!

Fake Blood : Facebook | Twitter

Haven't seen Fake Blood since Hard Haunted Mansion last year. Can't wait to experience his tracks like Medieval / Mars / Deep Red live and in person at HHM this year. If you were there to witness his set from last year it was absolutely phenomenal. Every track fit perfectly to the temperature of the crowd. Complete roller coaster of fun music as I recall it. Any hoo. Check out his latest mix below. I'm think you'll like it...

Excision - Shambhala Mix 2011 [Mix]

For the bass heads out there, if you don't know about the legend that is Excision, let me give you a brief introduction. This Canadian bass producer is mainly known for his aggressive, hip hop and metal influenced dubstep as well as his extremely technical production technique that rivals many producers out there right now. He runs Rottun Records, a label that I've been following for a while now that has launched names like Datsik and Downlink into the upper ranks of the current dubstep scene.

One of the things Excision is infamous for are his Shambhala mixes. The first one I ever heard was his mix from last year. His Shambhala mix from last year was notorious for the insane amount of dubplates that did not see the light of day until this past year, like Downlink's once-elusive and robotic sounding "Factory", and those dubplates that still haven't seen the light of day as of yet, like Excision's...awkward
sounding remix of Insideinfo's "Awkward" (which makes an appearance on this mix as well!). You're in for a treat with this mix because he brings many tracks that have been brought to the mainstream, such as Skrillex and Nero's remix of Nero's "Promises" and The Others and Trolley Snatcha's "Break Your Neck", while dropping the dubplates and unreleased remixes of huge tracks.
