It's been ages it seems since we last heard from our favorite Spaniards over at Vampire Party. The trio (Daniel Anibal, Aida Groba and Chago Pedreira) have just unleashed their third official single "Vampaholic" and it's currently blowing up overseas. It's time we got it cracking over here. "Vampaholic" is a totally different side from this group, blending elements of moombahton, dubstep, and electro, making it the most eclectic Vampire offering yet. Stream it below, and stay tuned for a set of visuals and release information.

Free The Robots - Ophic ft. Jessie Jones [Official Music Video]
Scion AV | Free The Robots - Official | Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud
Stumbled upon this music video a day or two ago. I'm really diggin' the dreary gloomy wintery soundscapes and visual aids for Free The Robot's track Ophic ft. Jessie Jones. Ms. Jones' vocals adds the perfect touch to the droning piano chords. The track is best served early morning or late evening/super early morning. Not meant for "Woo Hoo! We're alive and I have a sh)(t ton of energy" moments during the day.

Fourmi - Jean Carpentier VHS (Music Video)
We introduced Fourmi and his crazy "Fuckcentrique" track off his Glottal Stop LP a little over a week ago. The French sounds were almost too much to handle, but we were thrilled by the creativity. It was like hearing some Oizo shit for the first time...
I had to get this in. It's the official animated music video for another high-energy track off Glottal Stop called "Jean Carpentier VHS." Enjoy it. And we'll keep you posted if more of this comes about.

#throwbackthursdays Benga & Coki - Night [Music Video]
So I just recently picked up the vinyl 12" single of "Night" with "Emotions" and "Drumz West" on the B-side at Amoeba Music in Hollywood a few weeks ago, and I thought I'd share this just because this was one of the first few dubstep songs I heard when I first got into it a few years ago.
The music video's a bit weird for me, but this anthem is still in rotation in many bass music DJ sets and has become a staple in the scene. The song was released on Benga's debut album Diary of an Afro Warrior on Tempa in 2008 and many of the sounds in that album can still be heard today in many of his more recent tracks and collaborations, especially with Magnetic Man.
Enjoy!

Kelis - 4th Of July (Rusko Remix) [Music Video Edit]
Kelis - 4th of July (Rusko Remix)
This would be an appropriate track to drop if you were to have a DJ gig today. If you don't DJ, you could still play it on your iPod/iPhone speakers during your 4th of July festivities. Both Rusko and Calvin Harris' version are great adaptations of the original. No matter which one you go with I'm sure it'll audibly please yourself and your audience.

Save Ferris - Come On Eileen [Music Video]
Save Ferris - Come On Eileen
I can't help but listen to ska music whenever I have a day off. It's like a natural energetic pick it up pick it up kind of energy. I don't think I ever got a chance to see Save Ferris with it's original line up, but later down the road I did have a chance to play on the same bill with their second evolution Starpool, which coincidentally is named after Starpool Records which put out Save Ferris' first album "Introducing Save Ferris". I'll be posting a skanky tune here and there as the summer progresses.

Amtrac- I'm All Yours [Official Music Video+ Came Along LP]
From Kentucky, Caleb Cornett aka Amtrac is a force to be reckoned with in the future of Electronic music with his unique and creative sound that can grip you on the dance floor. His music video of the track "I'm All Yours" is just a preview of what he has to bring to the table, so that saying Check out his "Came Along" LP down below and listen. I have been following him for awhile and I thought to myself "About a year and he will be on the map", then soon enough on a random night his music video of "I'm All Yours" appeared on AMTV and It makes me feel more better and confident that GOOD Electronic music is still out there and the biggest music outlet in the world (MTV) is slightly progressing at that. Be sure to check him out at HARD Summer (you will not want to miss this). Enjoy!

Quakers - Smoke feat Jonwayne [Music Video]
Quakers : Official | Jonwayne : Official | Facebook
Big ups Stones Throw Records for sending us the Quakers release. We're slowly and surely all making our way through each one of the tracks. There's quite a bit. The music video above featuring Jonwayne was one of the tracks that first jumped at me during the first spin of the hefty release. The music video's early 90s visualizations fit the vibe of the track perfectly. It feels like a proper music video on MTV way back when they actually showed music videos. If you like the track be sure to pass it on to someone else...

Major Lazer - Get Free feat. Amber (of Dirty Projectors) [Music Video + Free Download]
Major Lazer: Official | Facebook | Twitter
Major Lazer is back and teamed up with Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors to deliver some beautiful soundscapes and heavy lyrics that immediately give me flashbacks to Coachella 2010. Major Lazer and Dirty Projectors where highlights for me that magical/inspirational weekend, especially Dirty Projectors who helped my mind grow exponentially in all directions. Keep an eye out for officially release dates for Major Lazer album and tour and go here for Dirty Projects summer tour schedule. Big ups to our long lost Dank Radio comrade D$ for putting me up on this one, its definitely a collective dream come true for these artist to come together and make the highest quality of dope. Slow Magic - Sorry Safari [Music Video]
Slow Magic : Facebook | Bandcamp
I guess I'm on a roll today. I don't know how and why I always seem to stumble upon really really good music late at night/early in the morning. Maybe it's because my mind is at it's clearest point in the night. Maybe it's because day time activity and thought process is overrated. Maybe that's just how sh)(t happens. Any hoo, I clicked here and there and now we're at Slow Magic's track Sorry Safari. If you trip out to the video and want to be reminded of that visual trip each time through auditory means, you can purchase the track off of their bandcamp page here. If you like the music, but you can barely afford gas right now let alone a track, help the artist by passing the video along to someone who may enjoy it.
