Infrasonics - Volume 8

Antiserum - The Swarm EP [Purchase: Beatport]

I'm a big fan of anything Rottun Recordings releases, so this one's a treat. Fans of Datsik, Excision, Downlink, and basically anyone who's ever released anything on EX7 or Rottun will enjoy this release.

Danny Byrd - Tonight (feat. Netsky) [Purchase: Juno | Beatport ]

Huge drum and bass banger from an awesome collaboration between Hospital Records artists Danny Byrd and Netsky. I don't know if it's because I'm a sucker for catchy hooks (who isn't?), but this is definitely one I enjoy a lot. It has a very feel good vibe to it and the music video's also pretty damn entertaining. My favorite remix off this release is definitely Cutline's drumstep remix; I just love the beat and the twist that they put on the vocal hook. I think after just a couple listens, you'll be singing along with the chorus and humming that melody.

Funkystepz - Fuller / Hurricane Riddim [Purchase: Bleep | Juno | Beatport]

I remember first hearing Funkystepz on this compilation called I Love Funky released by Rinse, the record label that shot dubstep, grime and UK funky into mainstream popularity. This particular release is out on Hyperdub, Kode 9's world famous record label known for releasing many of the biggest underground experimental and dubstep acts like Flying Lotus, Burial, and Joker.

Shigeto - Full Circle Remixes [Purchase: Bleep | Juno | Beatport ]

If you're into wonky beats (think Flying Lotus) and other kinds of experimental electronica and IDM, then this is a release you shouldn't miss out on. And if you haven't heard the original Full Circle release by Shigeto, I highly recommend that too! Released on Ghostly International, an American label known for having a wide diversity of artists and genres of music, this EP is a great example of the diversity that Ghostly International conveys with each release.

Daedelus - Tailor-Made (feat. Milosh) [Purchase: Bleep | Juno | Beatport]

I really enjoy everything that Daedelus releases just because everything he makes is just all over the place (in a good way!). What really gets my attention about his productions is the fact that he has so many influences from house to hip hop to jazz. I highly suggest picking this release up on Juno when it comes out on March 21st because in addition to the original and instrumental mixes, they have a mellow hip hop remix by TOKiMONSTA (above) and a deep dubstep remix by Floating Points, so keep an eye out for this one!

George Lenton - Burn EP [Purchase: Beatport]

Here's a sick dubstep release by UK producer George Lenton on Wicky Lindows. I remember first hearing about this label through Skism's "The Blank" release a year ago and I've always kept checking up on this label every time they come out with something new. Check this release out if you're into dubstep tracks with that dark vibe and deep, filthy basslines. Recommended for fans of 16bit, Distance, Zomby, or Sub Scape.

Enjoy!
