Noisia - Split The Atom (Special Edition) [Album Re-issue]

I don't usually get excited for re-issues of albums, but when I do... [insert the Dos Equis' Most Interesting Man face here]. But really, this is definitely one release that people shouldn't miss out on.

For those who have already heard the huge Dutch electronic production trio, you'll definitely not want to miss out on the remixes included in the 2nd disc of this release. There's a bunch of remixes that Noisia fans should be familiar with, like 16bit's "Machine Gun" remix, which was featured on the trailer of the latest Transformers film, and Excision and Datsik's twisted dubstep remix of the electro house banger "Alpha Centauri." There's also a bunch of new ones, two which have been released recently, namely Kito's high flying dubstep remix of the title track and the Neosignal (Phace & Misanthrop's electronic side project) remix of "Stigma."

And for those of you who haven't heard of Noisia, you're missing out on a whole lot of sick music! No, but really, this is an excellent time to jump onto their music and get in on it before they start touring again. Their diverse musical tastes range from bass-heavy drum & bass ("My World," "Stigma," "Shellshock," just to name a few) to wonky hip hop influenced beats ("Shitbox") and the hard hitting electro house ("Machine Gun," "Split The Atom").
