The Ting Tings - Soul Killing [New Single + Album Pre Order + Tour Dates]

The Ting Tings : Official | Facebook | Pre Order Sounds From Nowheresville here

Don't think I've ever heard a pop song that had it's base structure a creak of a squeaky screen door. That would have to be a first for me. The Ting Ting's Soul Killing just has a feel good summer party vibe to it. It has the "I can bob my head as I drive down Pacific Coast Highway" beat. With lyrics speaking against youthful and expressive restraint from a big and/or small city this song just screams radio single. Not that being a radio single track is necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you need a 3 min catchy pop tune to cleanse your pallet from those 6+ min dance tunes or those 9+ min orchestral arrangements.

After seeing UK's mysterious producer SBTRKT at Coachella I have been left hungry for more booming bangers that shake the dance floor. The more I hear from SBTRKT the more I can see his diverse range of influences that are evident in the music. With his debut LP set for a June 27 release and a new live show, this man will certainly be taking over soon. Watch Out! Check out the New Album + Tour Dates Below...

Nero - Me And You [Pre Order]

Pre Order Nero - Me & You @ iTunes

We posted the music video for this amazing song not too long ago and I don't care if you've had enough of the song because we haven't. Nero's Me & You is quite the epic tune. One that I can't wait to hear through a speaker stack 5 stories tall. The intro drum pattern with the ascending synth lines all build up to the distorted guitar lick which breaks out into a pure stadium rock hook. Alana then proceeds to repeat the question "Are you ready?" and you scream at the top of your lungs "Yes!!!". Well, that's how I picture things will be like later this week when they perform at Together As One.
