In celebration of SBTRKT's recent release of their LIVE album recorded/filmed at Shepherds Bush Empire London in October 2012 they've released the live video for Hold On/Migration. We've had the beautiful opportunity to see them perform live at last years Coachella and it was truly an amazing performance. It's so awesome to see their progression go from strictly ableton run dj sets to full on live performances. We can't wait for their next full length as well as next round of US Tour Dates. We first introduced you all to the two brothers back in June of 2011 and in less than a years time their music has spread like wildfire on the internet. In addition to their stellar production and amazing live stage performance, their music has been championed by the likes of SBTRKT and a whole slew of UKG producer/djs. They have yet to disappoint and for those of us here in the US we wait patiently for a tour to arrive at our shores. While we wait, we'll have no choice but to enjoy their amazing songs...

As the days and hours go by and all of the lucky Coachella goers wait in anticipation they begin to mentally map out which artists they're going to see. One act that I'm going to try my hardest not to miss will be SBTRKT. Having witnessed SBTRKT perform in two different versions and equally enjoying both incarnations, I really look forward to their proper live performance. He performed in the Dome last year w/ Sam Xl/Pure Filth's sound system and he got everyone in the food court area dancing around with their garlic fries. This was in the middle of the day and we all agreed at that point that it would be in no time at all that he would be performing in one of the gobi + mohave + sahara tents this year. We were right...

For our UK friends over the pond SBTRKT has just announced a ring of LIVE performance dates towards the end of February [with support from one of my more recent favorite sibling duos Disclosure!!!]. Having seen this set up of his live I can honestly say it is mandatory attendance. As some of our regular more frequent supporters of Dank Radio know, we've been fans of his music for quite some time, and have had the pleasure of seeing him spin at last years Coachella. He was the first person that I've ever seen incorporate a James Blake tune into a live dance setting. [No he didn't play CMYK. He playing something else.] Any hoo.
