Shout outs to Manni Dee representing the Brighton sounds over and across the pond. Manni has been an early supporter of Dank Radio and we're really glad at the rate of not only his musical growth, but his ever expanding cv of favorite artists he's performed with. We always knew he was going places. It's just a matter of time until he makes his way down to Southern California so we can have a proper show/Dank Radio live mix. But until that happens the mix below will have to be suffice. It features a handful of forthcoming tunes of his which will be released on the likes of Hit & Hope and Raised By Records. Interesting thing to note is Manni's evolution from his previous musical creations which mirrored more Brainfeeder / Low End Theory type vibes into his more 150 bpm and beyond juke type rhythms. Five hours ago or so I was sipping on some coffee getting ready to handle some Dank Radio emails and had an extreme hunger for something new and fresh. I've already went through all the latest posts from all the Dank Radio contributors and was still a tad bit hungry. So I turned to the hommies over at I.T.S. Music Playground Facebook Group to see what they had. Here's where I discovered Girrafage's track below, LUV. It definitely hit the spot and to my amazement and further internet search I discovered that he's going to be performing this Thursday @ The Echoplex for a FYF Fest event [More Info|Tix]. If this isn't the universe speaking to me then I don't know what is. Check out the track below. For all of the FlyLo + Brainfeeder + Low End + HudMo fans I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as I did. There is no better way to start the week other than a new composition that goes hand in hand with the emotions of Mother Earth. It's a cloudy and breezy day here in Long Beach and the maestro Daedelus has presented us with a beautifully sorrow tune. It's beauty is that it is whole heartedly honest in the way it breathes comfort into pain. Despite how depressing that may sound, the track truly lifts ones spirits.

The original version of ♥ by Los Angeles based beat creator Baths stands on it's own. It focuses more on a steady pulsating rhythm with accents of a droning piano progression. This song along with Maximalist and Hall (available for DL below) will be featured on his upcoming debut release titled Cerulean. The CD release show is scheduled for July 3rd at The Troubadour (Daedelus is also scheduled to perform) [purchase tickets here]. If you can't wait for the July 3rd performance Baths has a string of other local dates including tonight's appearance at Low End Theory.
