Extremely happy to hear|read that everyone enjoyed Local Natives' set at Sasquatch [It's been reported they started a spontaneous dance party on the lawn]. They're not going to be playing as much this year since they're gearing up to write + record their follow up album to Gorilla Manor. Seems like yesterday when Kelcey sent me the album to check out. Just spent the last hour or so watching live videos from La Blogotheque's vimeo page. Awesome concept. Simple and effective. The beauty of their videos is that it strips down our favorite songs down to it's core roots. For most compositions this can be just a simple guitar and vocals, and sometimes it's just vocals and some snaps and claps for percussion. Either way it's music, it's in Paris, it's live music in Paris.
