Amtrac- I'm All Yours [Official Music Video+ Came Along LP]
From Kentucky, Caleb Cornett aka Amtrac is a force to be reckoned with in the future of Electronic music with his unique and creative sound that can grip you on the dance floor. His music video of the track "I'm All Yours" is just a preview of what he has to bring to the table, so that saying Check out his "Came Along" LP down below and listen. I have been following him for awhile and I thought to myself "About a year and he will be on the map", then soon enough on a random night his music video of "I'm All Yours" appeared on AMTV and It makes me feel more better and confident that GOOD Electronic music is still out there and the biggest music outlet in the world (MTV) is slightly progressing at that. As stated in many previous posts of our enjoyment of all things Jack Beats, it was truly a pleasure to FINALLY have this track in my possession. It's been around since around 2009 and was featured in Jack Beats' BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. Ever since I first heard it I've been on a search for a proper version and not a radio rip. Here's what Plus One & Beni G had to say about the track, "Dubs for clubs Part.2: 'Deeper'. This track has been in every club set we've played since back in 2009, when it originally started life as a remix for drum and bass legend TC, for his track "Deep". We never finished the mix and ended up turning it into and original production a while back, and now we've decided to give it away for free, freshly finished off and brought up to date. Massive big ups to TC and Jon & Al (D-Style Records)."

HARD Vegas w/ Boys Noize + Destructo [Upcoming Event]
Looks like Destructo is going HARD as usual. Not only is there a Leap Year Party tonight with Mr. Oizo, and a smoggy DUB POLICE event this saturday with Caspa and friends, next month Gary Richards will be putting a dent in cities nationwide with a party pretty much every single weekend. Over the years HARD has been growing exponentially, from the first HARD 13 at the Shrine with Diplo and Boys Noize, to last years Hard Weekend tour with Simian Mobile Disco. March should officially be deemed HARD month, where the world celebrates HARD mania! I will not be surprised next year when Destructo announces HARD Earth, the simultaneous month long worldwide party featuring the newest outerworldly sensations visiting from different galaxies coming to our planet to expose us to that NEW NEW NEW, NEW sh*t! Gary, I hope you're 10 steps ahead of me. Until then, who's down for a road trip??

We're starting off the new year with a featured interview with someone who's become a familiar name amongst music enthusiasts from Los Angeles to New York. In the 1990s he was crazy enough to throw parties in Southern California theme parks. He's lived through the forever rotating cycle of popularity of dance music. His multiple multi-day concert series HARD began with a combination birthday/new years eve party a few years back. This man is one of few who can say they've successfully organized and executed a floating concert to the Bahamas and back. He does it all for the music and the love of his fans, which I'm sure by now you all know. Haven't seen Fake Blood since Hard Haunted Mansion last year. Can't wait to experience his tracks like Medieval / Mars / Deep Red live and in person at HHM this year. No explanation necessary. It's going to be a fun show. After seeing Duck Sauce + Boys Noize + Chromeo + Skrillex + Odd Future perform at Coachella this year, the opportunity to see them again is definitely a treat. I'm looking forward to seeing Carte Blanche [DJ Mehdi & Riton] perform since I missed them the last time they were in town. I'm also extremely excited to finally see Siriusmo perform live. Early on sometime mid afternoon I receive a text message saying "You won! :)". Confused as to what I won and who this was from I responded with "What did I win?! And who is this?!" It turns out I won tickets for myself and four of my friends courtesy of The Drop Factory to that night's event at The Roxy presented by Hard. Joy Orbison was playing that night and Hyph Mngo was a constant in my rotation along with his remix of Four Tet's Love Cry. So I did what any other person recovering from Post-Coachella sickness would do, I rounded up some fun musically hungry people and headed up to Hollywood.
As we approached the Will Call and Guestlist area my name was no where to be found and no tickets were left for me as instructed. A bit confused I made them triple check my ID to both lists and still no luck. After 20+ calls straight to a voicemail and a handful of text messages we were out of luck. fabricated, [e]ccentric, D$, Ms. Alaijsha, and I made the drive all the way out there and we weren't going home empty handed. So again I did what anyone Post-Coachella, still hungry for more music, with a week off from work, who extremely detests my cubicle day job but is putting up with it because it's a source of income would do, buy 5 tickets for him and 4 of his friends[Total was $150 if you were wondering]. From here on out fabricated will take over the review as I was a bit infuriated at the situation and medicated the situation with a bit too much whiskey and thus was unable to take proper notes that night...

Just went through a Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs listening binge just now. The weekend couldn't come any sooner. The coffee is really starting to kick in right now and this track is just the perfect addition to keep me going for the whole night. Below you will find The 2 Bears' interpretation of TEED's track How Far. It definitely still has that spacey vibe from the original but the groove is less "yay" and more "yeah". I've played this mix at least once per day since the day that it was released. That just shows you how much I enjoy it and how addictive my listening habits become when I find something that moves me. The more I hear it the more excited I become for HARD Weekend. Yes, I know it's still a long way from here. But you know, you can never start preparing too early for an event.
The mix starts off with one of my favorites from the scientific duo, Maarten Elen and Jonas Kiesekoms. I first heard Mumbai Science - Gold (Original Mix) during Erol Alkan's set at Hard Haunted Mansion 2010 and bugged every single person I knew until I found out who the song was by[Thank you to the random person on Youtube who shared the info]. I liked the song so much I played it out wherever I DJed but I never told anyone who it was by. I momentarily had a Smeagol kind of "My precious" phase with the song and kept it to myself and hoped that no one would ever find out. Boy was I wrong. None the less, It's great that more and more people are tuning into their songs. Apparently they also have a radio show in their home country. I wonder what other musical gems they share with their listeners.

Looks like Destructo is going HARDer than ever for this years Spring events[lack of sleep = really bad writing]. Say goodbye to HARD 13 and say hello to HARD Weekend[see, it's not getting any better]. Everyone and anyone who's been to any of the 2010 HARD parties have witnessed the consistency of talent|production|fun for each event. In 2011 it appears that this will carry over with the continued focus on the following regions LA, SF/Oakland, and NY. I for one was very happy to find out that they're keeping the Los Angeles event at Club Nokia. So much so that I'm losing sleep right now to get this post running for you all. Tickets go on sale in less than 7 hrs, 10AM[PST] so for those of you who party on a budget be sure to wake up early to snag the limited discounted tickets HARD usually offers for their loyal party goers.
