Oddisee - Odd Renditions [New EP

Oddisee is definitely a Dank Radio favorite and is in my top ten Producer/Mc and always blessing the fans with great free music. Yesterday he released this gem Odd Renditions VOL. 001 is a re-imagining of some classic tracks sweeping across genres. My favorite is the Marvin Gaye - Ain't That Peculiar flip which showcases Marvin's timeless vocals. Chicago native MCAdd- 2 reconnects with LRG to releases his latest mixtape (closer to street album than mixtape) Save.Our.Souls.  With production by 9th Wonder Kryhsis and usually contributes like Antman Wonder, IlL MeeL and Ken B you can expect the soul meter to be pretty high. Add-2's lyrics are razor sharp giving you great metaphors and witty punchlines for 20 tracks of Hip Hop gold that ends with a well deserved big up from Common to lead into the Ghetto Dreams freestyle. Alchemist - Covert Coup [Instrumental LP]

The Alchemist has always been one of my favorite beatsmiths cooking up dope tracks since the 90s and providing the world with pure Hip-Hop classics with the a wide range of artist from Dilated Peoples to Mobb Deep to Jadakiss. Covert Coup is a mixtape that Alchemist did with Curren$y around this time last year that you can still download for free but the instrumentals where just released on Alchemist bandcamp for all us beat aficionados. You can stream the instrumentals free or grab a copy for $4.20 here. I recommend getting the free download and purchasing  the instrumental for those hot box freestyle sessions that rejuvenate you and your friends creative juices.
