[via] I'm kickin' myself in the arse for missing Ardalan's set down at MDA's event at La Cave not too long ago. Discovering his track "Mr. Spock" was quite a random find a couple years ago. It was that hip hop sample after the drop that really did it for me. Little did I realize at that time how much hip hop sample based house music I would gravitate towards as I moved forward in the time space continuum. Check out his Guest Mix for GDD down below. Big ups to the local producer/dj Blankface for informing me of this upcoming event [+ putting me on his artist guest list ;)] occurring later on tonight down in Orange County at Yost Theater. He'll be performing upstairs from 10pm - 11pm with an onslaught of original deep dubstep productions while the likes of Mister Blaqk and Bones (GottaDanceDirty) get the main stage crowd ready for Brodinski. Brodinski's first release on Bromance Records featured two tracks that use almost in every DJ set of mine. The first track is one of his own titled "Let the Beat Control Your Body" which features Los Angeles' very own Louisahhh!. It's one of the very few techno tracks I can get away with spinning on a main floor occupied by top 40 heads. The other track on that same release is by another talented producer/dj, Gesaffelstein, titled "Control Movement". I've been following Brodinski's mixes + productions for a while now and am quite excited to finally see him in action. Like me, he is a lover of hip hop music and has a tendency to start off certain mixes w/ heavy doses of pelvic thrusting hip hop gangster classics. See you on the dancefloor.

After experiencing Drop the Lime drop much more than limes and bass at the first Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, I immediately signed up for as much Trouble & Bass I could get my hands on. Everyone in their crew goes hard and gets down. This friday the whole Trouble & Bass crew will be taking over Control @ Avalon in Hollywood.
