The OG Dirtybirds are back in Los Angeles! I've been fortunate enough to have experienced both of these fine and funny artists a couple of times this past year. Always with smiles on their faces and enough bass to more our asses, I guaranDAMNtee that you'll be making your booty clap all night long this Friday. If you're not into the booty clapping thing that's fine, I'm sure they'll be having you do all sorts of push up push down dances that'll make even the prettiest birds sing to you "Don't Go" or better yet, "Lezgo!" I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a drum & bass track or two and at the very least JM better bust out his Goldie edit of Kemistry. If you've been paying attention to the more recent Dank Radio editions as well as some of my live mixes you've noticed an increase of the Dirtybirds over time. We seriously can't wait for this show. After experiencing Drop the Lime drop much more than limes and bass at the first Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, I immediately signed up for as much Trouble & Bass I could get my hands on. Everyone in their crew goes hard and gets down. This friday the whole Trouble & Bass crew will be taking over Control @ Avalon in Hollywood. This will definitely be a night to remember so make sure you peep the link and grab a pre-sale ticket before they're all out. Bart van der Meer, otherwise known as Bart B More, has presented us with an hours worth of fun tunes perfect for practicing your dance moves in your bedroom, or driving around from here to there. He is the creator of the dance floor smashers Brap, Listen To This(created with Harvard Bass), and one of my more recent favorites, Zombie Nation - Squeek (Bart B More Remix). And along with Avicii, Afrojack, and Sonic C, he perfected his craft through Laidback Luke's online forum[great resource]. He has quite a few dates around the US so if you're one of the lucky ones living in a town where he's performing, just go. You'll be happy you did.

It was a delightful surprise for me to find the majority of his mix comprised of Dubstep tunes. When you really sit down and listen to Porter Robinson's tracks Say My Name or I'm On Fire you can hear the influence of Dubstep in his synth tones. All in all the mix is a high energy sample of what you can expect to hear on his upcoming US Tour.
