Brodinski, Pipes & Louisahhh - Bromance x Coachella [DJ Mix]

Brodinski [Bromance Records] : Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud

Having experienced an amazing set by Brodinski at Dance Right @ La Cita a couple weeks ago I was left wanting more four on the floor. The dance floor was filled to near capacity. It's attendees jacked their bodies under the reflective low level ceiling. Hands were in the air and the people were happily hounding each time their favorite techno track was sound slammed. Sweaty bodies bounced back and forth to their own beat of the drum. There was no lifted stage w/ a huge LED display. There were no lazers shooting kriss kross that made your eyes jump jump. The closest thing to a go-go dancer were the pretty females salsa dancing on the semi elevated side stage. It was a proper sweaty grimey dancey chicago and/or detroit dance floor. We submitted our selves to the music and you will do the same...

The Yost Theater + Into The AM Present: Brodinski w/ Bones + Mister Blaqk + Blankface 3/14/12 [Upcoming Event]

Brodinski [Bromance Records] : Official | Facebook | Twitter | Event Info

Big ups to the local producer/dj Blankface for informing me of this upcoming event [+ putting me on his artist guest list ;)] occurring later on tonight down in Orange County at Yost Theater. He'll be performing upstairs from 10pm - 11pm with an onslaught of original deep dubstep productions while the likes of Mister Blaqk and Bones (GottaDanceDirty) get the main stage crowd ready for Brodinski. Brodinski's first release on Bromance Records featured two tracks that use almost in every DJ set of mine. The first track is one of his own titled "Let the Beat Control Your Body" which features Los Angeles' very own Louisahhh!. It's one of the very few techno tracks I can get away with spinning on a main floor occupied by top 40 heads. The other track on that same release is by another talented producer/dj, Gesaffelstein, titled "Control Movement". I've been following Brodinski's mixes + productions for a while now and am quite excited to finally see him in action. Like me, he is a lover of hip hop music and has a tendency to start off certain mixes w/ heavy doses of pelvic thrusting hip hop gangster classics. See you on the dancefloor.

Rome Promotions present: Riton at Los Globos 2/16/12 [Concert Review]

riton | romepromotions

First thing I would like to thank romepromotions for their generosity of having me at the riton show. I will definitely check out another event by rome. It was a great thursday night on Sunset Blvd in LA because Riton from carte blanche (R.I.P. dj mehdi ) was in town. And let me tell you i was ready for this dj set with my Pabst Blue Ribbon in one hand and a tissue in the other (just in case if I couldn't handle any mehdi songs without tearing up a bit).

Bromance #1 - Gesaffelstein & Brodinski [New Release]

Gesaffelstein : Official - Brodinsky : Official - Bromance Records : Official

Technically this shouldn't be included in the "New Release" category since it was released sometime last year. Despite it's release date being way previous to today's actual date I still feel not enough people have heard about this release. If you're a local LA Native you've most likely seen Gesaffelstein and/or Brodinski at a HARD Presents Party, The Well underground, or Mad Decent's Blow Your Head parties. Both tracks below have been absolute dance floor killers. They've worked the most top 40 minded major chord loving vocal hook during build up fans into a dance frenzy to techno music. Which usually at most of the clubs I've spun at, they rarely if EVER dance to straight techno 4/4 in a minor chord progression w/ NO vocals. I really dug these tracks the FIRST time I heard them and I hope you do too. Hint Hint** Brodinski feat. Louisahhh!'s Let The Beat Control Your Body works WONDERS for the dance floor ;)
