[via] I'm kickin' myself in the arse for missing Ardalan's set down at MDA's event at La Cave not too long ago. Discovering his track "Mr. Spock" was quite a random find a couple years ago. It was that hip hop sample after the drop that really did it for me. Little did I realize at that time how much hip hop sample based house music I would gravitate towards as I moved forward in the time space continuum. Check out his Guest Mix for GDD down below. The OG Dirtybirds are back in Los Angeles! I've been fortunate enough to have experienced both of these fine and funny artists a couple of times this past year. Always with smiles on their faces and enough bass to more our asses, I guaranDAMNtee that you'll be making your booty clap all night long this Friday. If you're not into the booty clapping thing that's fine, I'm sure they'll be having you do all sorts of push up push down dances that'll make even the prettiest birds sing to you "Don't Go" or better yet, "Lezgo!" I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a drum & bass track or two and at the very least JM better bust out his Goldie edit of Kemistry. If you've been paying attention to the more recent Dank Radio editions as well as some of my live mixes you've noticed an increase of the Dirtybirds over time. We seriously can't wait for this show.
