From the creators of Lightning in a Bottle, The Do Lab presents Rise and Shine, a gathering with a large focus on the healing arts this October 19th-21st at the beautiful Hummingbird Ranch in the Valley of Southern California. 
Rise & Shine will bring together a community of health, consciousness, and sustainability. This special event will unite the best elements of a music festival, yoga retreat, an educational conference, and a Do LaB party with the environmental mission to provide an event where attendees can participate in forward thinking to better understand our place on the Earth at this important time in history.

Bassrush and Funktion continue to bring a range of bass music from all over the world to warm the walls of Dim Mak Studios in Hollywood for all in attendance. Last week we experienced Foreign Beggars take and break the stage, truly a historical event. Tonight, the World Famous Do Lab gets in the mix bringing some of Alpha Pup's arsenal to the Studios. Nosaj Thing and Free the Robots will be providing the beats and the bass along with Bay Area's Thriftworks. Eoto who is currently out on their Bass Invaders Spring 2012 Tour will be bringing their newly debuted 3D Lotus Stage Design to Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre this Saturday March 24th. The long awaited line up for this years Lightning In A Bottle 2012 festival is now upon us. As the outlet for Southern California's creative + musical + mind + body + soul + earth conscience concert goers has grown into a full fledged festival experience, many have started their journey into the Memorial Day weekend event long ago. This year sees the return of Bassnectar and The Glitch Mob. Both artists have had loving support through the years as they've grown from regional acts to national headliners. As the winter months shed it's layers into spring and news of the LIB's musical offering spreads this event will sell out. Car Camping + RV Camping have already sold out. As the week slowly progresses into the weekend I'm slowly and surely growing more and more excited to experience my first Lightning In A Bottle. It seems like each day I'm learning more about this amazing festival experience. A few days ago a video/article/interview was shared online that really puts everything into perspective. We get to hear from the people who labor year round to provide this unique experience to everyone who attends. From the amazing artists we're looking forward to covering, to the depth of workshops available, and the plethora of artists participating, I'm honestly not sure how me and [e]ccentric will cover it all, but we shall try. Many thanks to Steven @ The Confluence Group for reaching out to us and inviting us to this new experience. In addition to the "Constructing Lightning In a Bottle" video you can find the set times for the artists performing on the stages as well as the winner of the LIB Mixtape Contest below.
