DJ Mehdi- R.I.P. [Tribute]

DJ Mehdi

It's been a year since dj Mehdi's tragic passing, and today musicians and fans all around the world will never forget. His passion for music when he is on stage and is smiling and just getting down to the tracks he is playing is something I  will never forget. One of the most memorable moments in my life was Hard nye 2010. When Mehdi took the stage I knew I would never forget this moment because of the energy he puts out in every show and the way he show how much he LOVES music. Down below is a couple of my favorite Mehdi tracks and shows I have attended. Enjoy!

Daily Mixes- [dj mixes + Free Downloads]

It's the first month of summer and the biggest Electronic Music Festival is about to happen this weekend on the west coast (EDC). And today I have the mixes for anyone that is making the trip to the desert and for those who are just sitting back and relaxing. I will start off with a mix from A-Trak (some solid tunes in this one, this mix definitely has that Dj Mehdi dance vibe), My second mix is a nu disco house from Aeroplane  (I have to say this is the BEST ones he has made). I have another disco house mix from Mighty Mouse (great tunes and he has two tracks from his EP that will be released soon), and lastly a deep tech house mix from Sante ( deep and will keep you grooving) Enjoy!

riton | romepromotions

First thing I would like to thank romepromotions for their generosity of having me at the riton show. I will definitely check out another event by rome. It was a great thursday night on Sunset Blvd in LA because Riton from carte blanche (R.I.P. dj mehdi ) was in town. And let me tell you i was ready for this dj set with my Pabst Blue Ribbon in one hand and a tissue in the other (just in case if I couldn't handle any mehdi songs without tearing up a bit).
