Photek - M25 Cassette Mix [DJ Mix + Free Download + Tour Dates]

Photek : Official | Facebook | Twitter
Check out this lovely Mix by Photek below. Tracklist unknown, for now. I'm not too keen on these tracks but so far from what I've heard expect lots of Acid House. If you notice the mix is only 45 min long. So we might be treated with a B side to this mix in the near future [For the younger kids who never had the opportunity to PURCHASE music on cassettes or even make mix tapes off the radio or a horrible 3rd generation tape, each side of the cassette tape only allows for 45 min of recording]. In addition to the lovely mix, Photek has also released his track "No Agenda" as a FREE download. You may have heard this track from his DJ Kicks Comp. Goodies down below...

Bassrush presents Funktion Wednesdays: Photek & Reso @ Dim Mak Studios 02/08/12 [Concert Review]

This was my first time attending a Bassrush event as well as attending an event at the Dim Mak Studios in Hollywood, formerly known as the Cinespace. Bassically (see what I did there?), I didn't know what to expect, which I felt was a good thing, because it meant that I had no expectations (good or bad) walking in. After spending a good amount of time looking for parking, I finally was able to get to the venue. Although I was a bit late, I managed to get there right when Reso was starting his set.

For those who may not know, we here at Dank Radio are sibling radio programs with the one and only Radiobomb under the Aziatik Rhythmz collective on KPFK 90.7FM. They are our older brothers and sisters that have been serving the greater Los Angeles region the bass music they hunger for. Specializing in Jungle + Drum & Bass + Dubstep + All forms of Bass music, they've been Droppin' Bass Not Bombs for the past nine years. Their resident, DJ Subflo [You might have seen him spin a Bassrush or Insomniac event] has provided us with a pair of tickets to see Photek and Reso perform at Funktion Wednesdays at Dim Mak Studios (otherwise known as the old Cinespace). Many thanks to our fam at Radiobomb for sharing a piece of their Giveaway Central with our readers/listeners who support Dank Radio. We're doing something a little different from previous ticket giveaways so be sure to read all the info below.
