The Yost Theater + Giant present: Hard Rock Sofa + Angger Dimas @ Yost Theater | More Info
Tonight two of my current + favorite producers coming out of the scene make their way to Orange County. We have Hard Rock Sofa coming all the way from Russia with their hard hitting electro type synthesis. You might of hard one of their many productions created along with Swanky Tunes such as their take on The Stooges' "I Wanna Be Your Dog", or their remix of Swanky Tunes track "Together". Both of which have in one point in time ended up in a dj set of mine. Along with HRS hails South East Asia's prince of house, Angger Dimas. Having studied under Laidback Luke through the LBL forums, Angger Dimas has shared his take on tracks ranging from the likes of Avicii, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, and Kelis. The event tonight is FREE before 10:30pm for 21+ w/ RSVP. It's $20 entry for 18+ before 10:30pm. Special Limited Pre-sales are available for $15. More info on tickets and RSVP here.

Tommie Sunshine - Eyes Towards Summer DJ Mix

Tommie Sunshine : Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud
Mr. Tommie Sunshine has presented us with another volume of auditory pleasures. His Summer Soundtrack Mix '10 was definitely a good source of dance floor grooves last year and his current Eyes Towards Summer DJ Mix continues the party with more inspirational dance tunes. Here's what he had to say about the mix...

With a winter so harsh as this one has been it was time to set my sights on the oncoming Summer and make a musical representation of what that looks and feels like inside my mind. We are experiencing a wonderful time in music and this is an audio celebration of that time. I treated the last 3 songs as my "end of the night" tracks so imagine this to be me shutting the club down and kick starting the mood for the after hours. - Tommie Sunshine
