Native Instruments presents: Traktor Kontrol F1 - Scratch Clips w/ Shiftee and Greg Nice [Live Video + Gearheads + SXSW Tour Dates]

Native Instruments : Official | Store - DJ Shiftee : Official
Above you finally get to see what Native Instruments' latest toy, F1, is all about. With a wonderful turntablism exhibition by DJ Shiftee and MC Greg Nice you get a feel for what direction NI is taking live performance. I'm not going to weigh in on the whole digital vs. analog debate. That whole thing is just like a snake eating it's own tail. All I'll say is that every martial artist has come to the same conclusion of their own expressive battle form, regardless of style, and I paraphrase, "The only thing that matters is a warriors skill set and their own mastery of their mind." The 2 time DMC champion will be performing a string of shows down at SXSW. You can view the details down below.

Knocksteady Live - DJ Craze [Live Video + Podcast]

DJ Craze : Official | Facebook | Twitter - Knocksteady : Official
I remember a couple months ago DJ Craze was in town for Expansion and I saw somewhere online that he was doing a video/podcast for Knocksteady. After seeing him live later on that evening at Expansion I totally forgot about the video he did. Low and behold insomnia + the internet + youtube = memory jump. So here's the video + podcast that I was waiting for, but completely blanked out on and forgot to even search/share.

Porter Robinson - Spitfire [Contest + Tour Dates]

Porter Robinson : Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud
We've been following Porter Robinson for quite a while. Ever since I saw this random teenage musical maestro break through the Beatport charts with Say My Name I knew he was someone to keep an eye on. Some said he was just lucky and it was just one track. But I kept paying attention and from the looks of it I wasn't the only one. He's gone from small regional tours, to playing at Beyond Wonderland, featured on DJ TechTools, releasing his latest selection with Skrillex's new label OWSLA, and now he's opening up for Tiësto across the nation. Not bad for someone who's not even legal enough to purchase alcohol [or rent a motor vehicle].

If you like what you hear please show your support by purchasing the tracks or checking him out on tour. [I suggest you listen/purchase the Kill The Noise Remix of Spitfire(Shout out to Jake!)] There's also a contest below where you can win a free Traktor S4 unit....
