Here is the latest addition to the MPC family from Akai, the MPC Studio. The MPC Studio features a compact design less than 1" thin, perfect for the traveling producer. Just like the Reniassance, this version of the MPC has the standard genuine MPC pads as well as the legendary MPC workflow and MPC Swing. It works as your main DAW or works seamlessly with your current studio as a VST/AU/RTAS plugin. The MPC Studio features a large LCD screen allowing you to create without having to look back at your computer! Check out the video:

The revolutionary pioneers in music production and drum machines also known as AKAI have done it again. This time, they are back with a new sleek design with even more features than the original for the modern day producer with the MPC Renaissance. Coincidentally enough, I was just having a chat with my buddy the other day about new set ups and how he could implement his MPC2000, or any other set of drum pads into a computer production midi set up. Now with the introduction of the MPC Renaissance, any other sampler and/or drum machine in existence is out of question. The classic MPC style pads are heavy duty and can take the heaviest of pounding and creating. Complete with an array of inputs and outputs, both for Audio and MIDI, the MPC Renaissance is sure to revive producers both old and new and set them into the new age. My favorite part is the dedicated phono input for your turntable. Now you don't have to go through that old school radio shack mixer you've had since the 80's anymore!
