Boy Manik - His Name Was Lahoony (Stream + Download)

Our boy Zach aka Boy Manik dropped off some new tunes for us this weekend and here is the delivery. "His Name Was Lahoony" is the biggest shit I've heard from him yet. He's definitely on the way. I can't wait to see what's in store for him.

Boy Manik - Unleashed (Stream + Download)

Boy Manik is a 22 year old producer out of Chicago. His debut track "Unleashed" is a monster progressive, house anthem. I asked him to tell me a little bit about the music and here's what the man had to say: "I would say that ["Unleashed" is] my first successful track in terms of the type of music I would like to continue making. It's part progressive/electro, and I guess even a bit trance-y, as some local trance labels actually liked it, but I wouldn't label it trance by any means. It's not crazy all over the place electro, like a lot of the electro tracks being produced today. It's much more repetitive, and I really like hard, filthy repetitive basslines." And so do we. We're definitely looking forward to more from him.
